Sheila

Aurora, CO

Today, it is estimated that almost 2 million Americans are being diagnosed with cancer, with almost a million resulting in deaths. I know that it is hard enough to face the reality of having cancer but you have to brace yourself again for the fight with purchasing a life insurance. I’ll be honest with you Sheila, it is not impossible get one in Colorado but it is going to be a bit difficult.

Find out more about the type of cancer you have, its stage and grade as well as the planned treatment for the cancer for these will all greatly affect the chances of your application being approved. Usually, the rates that you will receive will depend on your cancer’s curability.

If you have a treatable form of cancer, you may be able to get approved but if you have a history of leukemia or pancreatic cancer, your rates may be higher or some may even reject your application. But if your cancer has already spread, it is very certain that you will not be able to purchase an insurance policy. Just make sure that you gather all the needed information about your cancer like medical records or test results to help in the processing of your application. Just don’t be shocked by the high premiums that will be offered to you. Good luck!
